Ruth Adams is a fully qualified personal trainer and has a wide range of experience training both sports men and women from recreational sports players to professional level athletes. Ruth is able to offer one-to-one tuition or group classes. If your aim is to improve your strength and fitness related to specific performance or you want to improve your overall health then Ruth can tailor a specific training programme for you. Ruth will teach you the correct technique to improve fitness and strength whilst avoiding injury and guide you through a structured progression of exercises to gain the maximum benefits.

We offer personal training to all levels of exercisers and sports players. Ruth's specialist knowledge of strength, movement and sports performance allows her to assess and analyse technique specific to an individual and their chosen sport or activity including:

Return to Sport After Injury
The point at which you return to exercise and sport following an injury is important to judge to avoid re-injury or other problems associated with a lack of fitness because of injury. Specific personal training sessions focus on maintaining strength whilst injured allowing a gradual return to sport and activity once it is safe to do so and the relevant progression of exercises to improve strength, stability, flexibility and performance.
